  1. Something is wrong with the case files you have available for download on the site. I can open some of them in Illustrator, however the faceplate gives me an error. “The file Rockit Faceplate.dxf is in an unknown format and cannot be opened.” I even tried some online DXF converters and got nothing.

Any chance of re-exporting this into an EPS? I want to roll my own case and really just need the front panel with the centers for both mounting and pots/leds. I need to work in Illustrator, as that’s what my laser guy requests.

I emailed you a week or two ago about this, but my email could have ended up in a spam folder. Dont worry, I have no intention of offering any alternative cases from yours, I just want to design my own.

    Thanks for your help!

  2. I changed the files above to .dxf 2007. The new version of QCAD saves files in .dxf 2010 which is apparently not compatible with Illustrator. I was able to open the faceplate in Illustrator. Let me know if that works.

P.S. I think I sent you an email which got blocked. Some corporation doesn’t like my domain name.
